Gucci Horsebit Hobo

Sometimes when i wear the bag and there is LOTS IN IT... the horsebit kinda digs into my arm... but other than that, I love that I can fit EVERYTHING in it.

i have a fuschia monogram horsebit that i got from ioffer.. i love it

If you could get an authentic one in the fuschia monogram jacquard, but in a style other than the large horsebit hobo, would you get it?? I know someone personally that has one and doesnt want it anymore. Its basically this style http://www.neimanmarcus.com/products/mp/NML5744_mp.jpg except its 11" x 8". I could get it for around $250, gently used! Its not as attractive as the large hobo, but the fuschia monogram is so rare, I think I should get it!!

I decided to pass, although I'm not sure I should've it sure was pretty! But something about the style bugged me. And I was trying to save for another gucci bag that matches a belt I have, but now I'm not sure I even want the belt anymore, although I do still want the bag. Ugh, decisions decisions!!!

Hi! I'm new to this site and I have been scoping those Gucci Horsebit hobos like crazy on ebay, iOffer and on Overstock.com. Can you tell me if you think the leather is good (or ok or excellent or "fabulous") quality? Also, I don't know if this is appropriate or not - but which buyer did you buy from?

I've been thinking about this bag and where to buy from for weeks, now. So, your help in this would be most appreciated.

Also, to everyone who commented that the horsebit can dig into the shoulder when the bag is loaded - THANKS!! I never would have thought of that! Something to consider....

Hi !

I am about to buy a Gucci Horsebit Hobo bag (white ostrich) from a friend of mine who got it recently, she used it and now she wants to get rid off it. She is not the type of girl who would carry a fake bag but I am not the kind of girl who trusts everyone sooooo...I need help!

I need a website or tips in how to spot a fake Gucci Horsebit Hobo Large(ostrich). She got hers on Ebay for $650.00 and she is giving it to me for half.
I will really appreciated any help!

my admittedly knee jerk reaction, without having seen the bag, is it's fake. nearly all (if not all) the horsebit hobos on eBay are fake and $650 is way too cheap -- I think the bag retails for $4000? even better than pictures of the bag would be information about the auction, if you can get it. the fake gucci hobos are tricky. I would say the things to look out for are whether it has some sort of closure (the real ones have none and the fakes I've seen have some sort of magnetic closure), the quality of the leather (it shouldn't be wrinkly or anything -- it should feel expensive), and be on the lookout for extraneous tags (gucci bags do not have any sort of tag that hangs off the bag). also, serach the handbag forum for this bag and I guarantee you will find pictures of fakes -- this topic has been addressed many times before.

No No No! She recently bought it on ebay & is letting it go along with a $300 loss?!or is she letting a fake go? this is what I would do, Ask her to come along to a Gucci boutique to have it authenticated, because $300 is a lot to pay for a fake (well, I would'nt say it to her face, just think it) if she does, she has no clue whether it's fake or not, and you will either save your $300 or make a great deal. hey, how was the bag? did you end up getting it? I really want the black one, it is perfect for law school as I can put all my books etc., in it, and it is quality. I don't want something with labels on it. However, I did bit on eBay and I won the bag and though the person selling has been on eBay since 98 and has had nothing but good feedback...I just don't want to risk buying and it is a fake...what is your take on it?
