Chanel S/S 1994 : Brandi Quiñones & Dana Douglas by Karl Lagerfeld

It’s sometimes insane to believe that she was Karl’s muse as she was so OTT! She in a way was a bit like Pat Cleveland...That kind of insane girl.
A real beauty.

Even if her career took a bad turn in the late 90’s, I love that she is coming back lately. Her face has a character and I wish a big designer will take a look at her again like Riccardo did 10 years ago.

^^^ Brandi was an infectious and gorgeous fantasy of Lolita-type in her energy and all-out bombshell in her smoulder and body. I remember all the boys loved her on first glance. She was a joyous celebration of flirty femininity— which is something that’s frowned upon these morally-conservative days, sadly. I can see the Pat-comparison, in that they were both sort of a caricature in their personas of a certain type of model. But I don’t think anyone-- any man, would look at Pat the same way that they looked at Brandi, if you know what I mean. She was perfect for Chanel in that sense.
