Does anyone know a good product for very, very dry scalp? It tickles so bad and now I noticed I have big scabs all around my head.

I've tried one trick, which was recommended by many, to use a cream from pharmacy, which is extra rich and meant to atopic etc skin, and apply it on the scalp before washing the hair. I tried few times, but problem is I just can not apply it on just the scalp, and most of it gets to my hair and I can't wash it off properly. It stays on the hair making it greasy no matter how many times I use shampoo. And after all of this I did not notice any advance on the scalp.

I don't know how severe your condition is TommyGirl but I noticed at the supermarket that L'Oréal have brought out a whole new range for Elvive, called Phytoclear which might help. I noticed they had four varieties of shampoo, catering for a specific need toward sensitive scalp. They might be worth taking a look at but your condition does sound more toward the medication side. Best of luck!

*Edit* Recently bought Kerastase's Nutritive Creme Magistral.

I bought Bhringadi Hair Treatment oil today. This is the oil I use on regular basis and its been more than 3 years and still I just love to use it. I will rate this hair treatment oil as the best hair growth oil. Strongly recommended.

It depends on what you need. Do you need volume? Shine? Hair growth? Dandruff control?

In general, the best hair care products are the ones based on natural ingredients

Three things you want in any hair care product:

  1. sulfates
  2. parabens
  3. phthalates
It would be a great idea if it is cruelty-free as well
