Celebrity Houses #2

Drake's house literally looks so uncomfortable to live in.
Agree with @Lola701, it looks like a store.
It's very busy & there are so many lights / reflective decor everywhere!! it's like Times Square but if it were a house lol

Dakota's house is gorgeous, and I really love J Balvin's place as well..there is a very peaceful, calming vibe to it.

more like 5th ave, it's like when window displays come down, they're shipped over to Toronto where Drake's more than happy to house them lol.. look at the bags and shoes on display.. whose bags are these? did he just get them because there's a waiting list for them?.. and that basketball hallway, jeez. Seriously the first time I saw these pictures I immediately thought 'wait so.. did he go through extreme poverty..?'... I had to read up a bit on his background (he didn't, he just moved, at a critical age, to an affluent area/school where I guess everyone was wealthier/white and I think that did a number on his need to spell out R-I-C-H now).

As for J Balvin's house.. it's a bit nicer but he still resorted to the ultimate symbol of the nouveau riche in the 21st century (just like Drake)-: the mandatory KAWS and Murakami junk. Koons probably didn't call back. It's very 'my songs may just be 'hey mami that yummy a*s bang bang shake it lick it Ooh' but... I know art, in fact I COLLECT art'. That AD called it 'decorative restraint' is too hilarious, that might be consistent with 5 sólidos's work (the architectural firm).. but not with what the client ultimately chooses to put inside.

oh you are are right!! definitely 5th Avenue with those signs... and the handbag collection. he definitely just bought them because they are expensive, and he will never use them - maybe just look at them sometimes idk lol

Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot. Of course it all came together right before quarantining out of the city....

But I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favorite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy. ++ my mamma:smile: who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required) ☺️ grateful to and for all. -- ig/gigihadid

Wow, Gigi’s place is NOT my taste but at the same time I kind of admire that it’s odd and personal.

Video of Kendall Jenner showing her house on AD:

Wow, this house looks surprisingly 'homely', like it belongs to an older, self-assured woman. Unlike her sisters and her mum's houses which imo look very devoid of personality. I do still get the impression that it's a single person's home, lol. Very impressed that they mostly stayed with the architectural style of the house and build the decor around that as opposed to 'let's make it super modern, with lots of sleek Italian furniture and steel. Like old clashing with new'. So contrived.

The only area I don't like at all is the kitchen. Marble walls, countertops, anything is tacky and show-off imo, and the suspended light fixtures with the pots is too cluttered.
And sorry, but every time I look at that Doberman I'm reminded by a Youtube clip where she didn't want to walk the dog, or clean up his mess when she stayed at her mother's. I believe she got the breed because 'it would make my IG shots look cool'.

Hopefully it's not overkill to post these, but here's the HQ's of Kendall's Beverly Hills house. She paid something like 8.5 million for it, but it was *hideous* at the time, I reckon she increased the value by several million with her renovations. Everyone in this family seems to be a genius at house-flipping. I see celebs taking losses when they resell their homes all the time, but the Kardashian-Jenners seem to walk away with millions in profit everytime.

I'd only loosely define him as a celebrity, but he's relevant to these forums, so here's Wes Gordon's apartment in NYC:

"Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have just put their Beverly Hills home on the market and they’ve listed the stunning house for $23.95 million.
The home was previously featured in Architectural Digest and there are so many amazing features inside the house. There are seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, 33-foot ceilings in the parlor, a chefs kitchen, and an incredible master bedroom with a brass and concrete fireplace, a balcony, a lush Glam Room, and one of the most amazing closets you’ll ever see in a private home.
Chrissy even showed off the closet on her Instagram Stories this week and lamented on how she will be sad to say goodbye to the closet.
Some other cool features are a large home gym, a movie theater with soundproof walls, and a pool that has views of Coldwater Canyon.
The listing is currently live on the Douglas Elliman website."

"Tony Gonzalez, who is considered to be one of the NFL’s greatest tight ends of all-time, is selling his incredible mansion in Beverly Hills! The 44-year-old former football player, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last year, has listed his home for $29.988 million and the photos from inside are stunning. Tony purchased the property in 2016 for $7.1 million, which was the value of the land, and knocked down the house that was previously there so he could build this home, according to Variety.
The mansion was completed in late 2019 and features nearly 13,000 square feet. There are seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and four half bathrooms.
An elevator is available to reach all three floors of the home and there’s a garage that will fit up to eight cars.
The backyard features a swimming pool and spa, a lighted tennis court, and a view of the Sunset Strip skyline. There’s also a pool house that contains a bar/kitchenette, a bathroom, and a mirror-walled fitness room that can be converted into a guest bedroom.
The property is listed with Bob Hurwitz of the Hurwitz James Company"
