Ksubi Jeans

I thought they'd regrouped or something, with two of the original guys still at the helm and more experienced people on board.

I thought they were showing at Australian fashion week. Probably wrong though.

That's sad, I hope they can keep going. I have the Ksubi skinny black zip jeans and love them

nope they just released a press statement saying they are showing at Australian fashion week on friday, they are live streaming their show on the australian harpers bazaar website to celebrate their 10th birthday, so im pretty sure they can't be going into liquidation?

Yep, it was bought back in Feb '10.

Ksubi enlists Wolf as consultant for summer show
April 10, 2010
THE global financial crisis has been tough on the fashion businesses, with Christian Lacroix and Ossie Clark among the victims. But an Australian label, Ksubi, is working its way back from its low point in January, when it faced collapse.

Ksubi co-founders George Gorrow and Dan Single have engaged the renowned stylist Brana Wolf to consult on their summer collection show, which will close Australian Fashion Week on May 7.

Sydney-bred and now New York-based, Wolf was once listed by Forbes magazine as one of the eight most powerful stylists in the world. Her credits include cover shoots for Italian Vogue and US Harper's Bazaar and advertising campaigns for Versace and Michael Kors.

Wolf is regularly employed by top fashion houses to consult with designers on collections and style shows - her role with Ksubi.

''Brana has pushed us to another level,'' said Gorrow. ''She is mentoring the design process and we're honoured to have her on board."

At the height of Ksubi's success in 2007, the label turned over $19.7 million. But in January it went into voluntary administration owing more than $9 million. A month later it was bought by Gorrow, Bleach Ltd and Harry Hodge for a reported $5 million.

"We're working harder than ever and focused on the creative process,'' said Gorrow. ''Some may think this is a make or break collection but it is not.''

Help!

two things.

I just bought a pair of ksubi jeans, I usually wear a size 8, I ordered a 28 inch waist, are they going to be too small? Should I cancel that order and order a larger size?

Also, for those of you wanting them cheaper, I got mine today on HauteLook (I'm sure most of you have heard of it.) They were marked 75% off! Here's an invite code if you're interested!

I can't remember how to edit my posts, so sorry for this (anyone care to remind me? it's been forever since I've used this!) I just changed my order to be a size 31 after calling the help line for hautelook and talking to a girl who owns a pair. Think this should be okay? I hate buying things that I've never tried on before.

EDIT:// Okay, I see the edit on this one, but not on my last so I'm sorry I would just delete it but I can't for some reason. Strange. Anywho, thanks guys!

I just scored a pair of the Super Skinny (with the side zip) from Loehmann's for only $25! I'm normally a size 27 or 4 but in these I'm a 30  I might need to alter the waist as they stretch out but I couldn't get any sizes smaller over my thighs! Please tell me this is normal for Ksubi :ninja:
