How discovered:
I posted a couple of selfies on Twitter & Instagram and they went viral. Agents began reaching out to me through my DM’s on Instagram and that’s how I met my Managers, Valenté Fanning and Roderick Hawthorne at V MGMT™️

Best modeling experience so far?
Honestly, I think Holt Renfrew was one of my most exciting shoots. We shot in Canada and the brand is aligned with where I want to go with my career in terms of luxury, high fashion, and beauty.

Currently, you’re obsessed with/about:
I’m currently obsessed with everything podcasts and finding new interesting series. I’m also obsessed with finding new hiking trails. I’m fortunate enough to live not far from a National Park so I’ve been spending time there with my siblings.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
Definitely skydiving! I really wanna experience the thrill of jumping out of a plane.

How do you want to make an impact in the world?
I want to be remembered as someone who is kind, giving, as someone who always has something to benefit people. One thing I want to help change is the many prejudices surrounding Black Muslim Women like myself. I want to help by playing a significant role within the industry by tackling the stigma that surrounds us and utilizing my voice and platform to create real space for conversation.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to never worry about what others are doing because comparing yourself to others hinders you from being your best.
