The video is.... interesting. One certainly does get the impression Virgil was lovely to be around, though "the greatest Black thinker in the world", a label ascribed to him in the video, feels like a stretch. Overall, I'm not sure about the choice of subjects they selected to interview. You've got Kendall, Bella, and Gigi talking as though they were besties, making certain to refer to him on camera as "V". Karlie Kloss going on about how she and Virgil has this super deep connection and camaraderie because they're both just humble folk from the midwest. It's hard to pull off this sort of tribute in a way that feels authentic. While hearing personal anecdotes from peripheral people is a good way to get a picture of someone's life and/or character, I can't shake the feeling that it's all a bit self serving, that people are exploiting their own proximity and exaggerating their connection to Virgil for clout.
