after viewing an incredible photography exhibit recently shot in Iceland called "Myths", I couldn't help but notice the Nordic fashions that managed to take center stage in some of the compositions. not an easy task; imagine sharing a landscape with craggy volcanic lava, steaming glacier pools and models styled like the Marilyn Manson sister and brotherhood. I'm not sure if this was the exact designer but it easily could have been.

New York Fashion Week Spring 2008 :: Steinunn

Intricate paper-like folds and ribboning added texture to a collection dominated by heather grey, black and lavender. A print that rendered the quality of both a painted and photographic floral pattern made an occasional appearance on a dress or a bandeau top. Structure was impeccable. Looks were concise. Would be nice to see more from this presentation
