United Nude shoes

I'm surprised there is no thread for United Nude... I've been intrigued by UN's architectural shoes for a while. Ever since the Iris van Herpen collaborations they have really picked up steam in my opinion. There is even currently a UN exhibit at Selfridges.

I really like their store in NY too and I find that their collections keep getting better and better, I remember seeing some heavily branded shoes by them which I didn't enjoy at all. The Selfridges installation is pretty cool and I am glad to see them in Selfridges too!

tried on those gem flats...
they are cute but aren't as wow in person as i would have liked...

but i was on zozo (again! ...)
and i saw these...
they come in black and in blue...


i actually stopped everything and went straight to the united nude store to try them on...
i wound up bringing home the blue ones...
they just seem sort of lighter and brighter...

*i'm still on the fence about color...
i may still go back and switch them for the black...

*it's hard to tell in the pics...but there is some shiny silver piping that just pushes the design over the top for me...

ok- on the advice of my style sensei...
i have exchanged the color and now i have the black ones w. silver trim...

they are actually more comfy in the black cause the blk foam is more spongey than the white...
...

seems like a good fit and would explain why United Nude is looking better to me lately...



funny timing-
i buy my first pair and find they are working with one of my fave brands...
that is no coincidence...
