how do you make your skin smooth and flawless? #1

When I moved from Norway to London my skin went so bad. My theory is that it had something to do with the moisty air and the quality of the tap water (yes, we are kind of spoiled with clean water straight from the mountains up here :P.)

Anyway, I started to drink loads of bottled water and take Omega 3-6-9 pills, and it certainly became much better after a couple of weeks. I think change of climate almost always will change your skin, and that you somehow need to balance it from the inside to make it stable again.

London water is very hard - my dermatologist said that's why my eczema has come back, because where I used to live the water was a lot softer on the skin and didn't dry it out. So yeah, water does have a huge effect on skin.

My skin always goes crazy when I visit London as well. It's not just the water but also the air pollution. I use like three times the toner I normally do to get rid of the dirt.

I've been doing something new lately....

I'm currently following the green tea craze and I've been misting my face with home brewed green tea every night after I was my face.

The immediate effects were: less dryness
About a week in: less redness
2 weeks in: face is overall brighter and less "tired" looking

The hard thing is you have to buy green tea that actually brews and turns the water "green". I recommend matcha.

My solution is simple: cocoa butter, sunblock and proactiv. Apply twice a day; apply sunblock every two hours, even if you're inside.

I'm vegan and eat a lot of fruits and veggies. I also take Vitamin-D pills and iron supplements. YMMV.

I agree with leeroi! Green tea does wonders. Just got a green tea extract supplement which works like a charm! I've noticed my skin glow even more, and it's well-balanced now.

You know, just drinking it is pretty good for your skin too:P.

Okay, so I'd let you guys know what the products are called.
I guess it's from France and it is amazing. Pretty expensive though. (Was around €100 together).
Any way, it's called: Skin Jet.
I use the Enzoseb Lotion and Enzoseb cream.

Regarding the whole "green-tea-issue": I've been drinking it on regular basis now 2 times a everyday and I can certainly see (or even feel) an improvement! So - for anyone who wants to try it out - go for it, you have nothing to lose

i used to drink lots of green tea (even though i didn't like it at first) but nothing changed. i was really disappointed, especially because i read that it would help me to lose some weight :(
i think i should start again

Only drinking green tea do not really help to lose weight. I think you also have to take care what you eat. Then it works.

And I agree, green tea is really good for your skin.
I tried different types of green tea. But the best was the chinese green tea. I buy it in our organic-shop and it tastes really good!:flower:

I usually drink vanilla scented green tea with sugar, do you think it has the same effect as plain green tea  ?

^Sugar is bad for your skin, so it probably has the opposite effect.

^^Try sweetening it with honey, or some other natural sweetener, if the Vanilla isn't enough:flower:.

You could always try Stevia. Or try white tea, I find it has a natural sweetness to it and I do prefer the taste for sure.

ok, thanks for your answers, Ill try it without anything first and if that doesnt work out, Ill get Stevia/honey :flower:

So yeah, water does have a huge effect on skin.
I agree, I also noticed that we have very hard water here in the city. My bf lives in the countryside and everytime I'm there I don't need hair conditioner and I can feel that water is softer and it doesn't dry out my skin.
Not to mention how good it tastes!:woot:
