Carole Lombard

She is one of my favorite icons, because she was so vivacious and could play with the boys easily on their turf.^_^

a fashion article
"fur now a trend in dress sleeves"
"emerald green with red fox-doesn´t it sound like fall?and here it is in a swagger sheer woolen ensemble worn by carole lombard in "brief moment".kalloch has topped a simple dress with a swagger coat that looks new because of its square back yoke and box pleats.smart wool hat"

"carole lombard has innate flair for smart clothes-and no one knows better how to design them for her than travis banton.this stunning gown which carole wears in "brief moment" ,is particularly interesting for its use of fringe and for the hipline belt.dramatic, isn´t it?white crepe and long fringe to animate both skirt and shawl-like scarf, the latter being so cleverly attached to the narrow shoulder straps.worn in a gay night club sequence."

"so simple -yet how much real chic is sewed into this pale pink satin gown which carole wears in "brief moment".travis banton thought up that flattering square neckline and amusing tails in back made by white straps"

^ That last dress is so beautiful! She certainly wore clothes well

i hate the title of this "article"-plastic surgery star....you could perhaps write that about some species in hollywood nowadays and still it would sound rude ....

she looks so much like Marlene Dietrich in the first pic in #65, the resemblance is almost scary.
