hair accessories....kanzashi...
this means hair combs and hair sticks, as well as the usual clips...
there is a kind of french hair clip with a tige boule clasp that is the only kind that works on my hair...

hard to find and relatively expensive...
one brand makes some i like- franceluxe
i have some of theirs and they are really nice and also great quality for the $$

have been wearing hair sticks lately and i like that...
have some vintage ones and have been checking out more vintage ones on line along with vintage japanese hair sticks and combs...
amazing stuff...
especially birra birra that have the dangling metal fringed bits...


considering another DIY project- to make some hair sticks...

well- i was considering taking some older wooden chopsticks and cutting them down and adding some pretty bits and bobs to make them into hair sticks...

is that bad?

but, i confess, i really haven't paid as much attention to it lately as i probably could have...
clearly i am missing some good stuff~!

i wore my wide yohji pants from last summer with the hole-y oxfords and a uniqlo boxy blk T
i was practically skipping down the street~!
those shoes are the BEST!
they were worth the patience and the hunt and the wait...
i could not have found a better oxford...
and they will be great with sox~!!!

*the only drawback is that the holes mean they cannot be worn in very cold weather...
but i have plenty of boots for that~so, it's cool...

yes- i do love those things very much...
there is a cohesive thing happening in my wardrobe lately...
(partly- the weather is a bit less disgusting)
but there is a thing happening where the past and the present are connecting in the best possible way and all my old faves are getting a new life and the new things i have found recently are just like a dream coming true...

I like those loose overall thingies that yohji has done through the years...
they are crazy expensive though and I am quite sure the proportions wouldn't actually work on my frame...
nevertheless, they are really popular with more mainstream brands right now and I keep seeing people wearing various versions of overalls and jumpsuits and i cannot help wishing for something like that myself...
