men's cowboy boots

i just ordered those for the hell of it, and a lack of better things to buy with a gift certificate. think its possible to pull them off with jeans? or would i be better off getting black boots instead.
im just not sure if men's cowboy boots are totally out, or if they are making a comeback

I dont know, cowboy boots have gotten so mainstream, its awful to be seen in them when you're trying to keep up...

If it's something you've been wearing for a while and it's a staple on your wardrobe, then yeah, go for it, but still, it's too scene...

Any other kind of boot is better than cowboy boots now...

nah i havent been wearing them before.
i dont live in the west or anything, i live in a suburb of nyc haha.
what are some good men's boots youd reccomend?
