I see many mentions of Alessandro Michele here, and I appreciate what he's doing as well. I find his own sense of style inspiring.


I wanted to mention Alber Elbaz, for breathing new life into the house of Lanvin over the past 14 years, and for his unique approach--elegant, disinterested in perfection, but extremely interested in women and making them feel beautiful and secure. There is not one Lanvin woman, but many--his designs speak to the many faces of women. There are many other designers who are trendier, but there's no one who inspires love and loyalty like Alber.

Alessandro because his first collection for Gucci reminds me of the breath of fresh air Phoebe Philo's first collection at Celine was. It's not my personal style, but appreciate his unique view and use of colors.
Nicolas because whatever he does it always feels modern.
