Not a whole lot of info available on him...
this is what I found on Management Artists--

Satoshi was born in Japan in 1959. He arrived in Paris in 1984 and began shooting in 1986. In 1988 he began to direct advertising films.

He seems to have done a lot of studio work, but I'm going to focus on location shoots for the most part as I find them so much more interesting...

it's fitting that you chose to post letitia casta because i read somewhere that upon seeing her somewhere he booked her on the spot... i believe it was early in his career...

i love the intricacy of the styling

in terms of photography i'm really drawn to the level of contrast and sharpness in these photos

i like the way he chooses to frame the model and the clothes in this last set... she's never completely in frame--whether he crops in at her foot, knee, top of her head etc...
