Can anyone tell me the meaning of this song?

But what do the lyrics actually mean? This song is like a poem...

Someone in another website said it is about a woman who has changed and think she is better than the man (the singer) who loves her after she travelled ...

Yeh it could be about drugs. It reads like its about the person singing in some form or realtionship with the person the song is about, whether it be girlfriend, sister, brother, mother what ever. You know when you have a friend and they suddenly join the cool group? But they end up coming back to you. That kind of what it sounds like to me.. but not about the cool group haha it could be about drugs, going off with another man, moving cities, thinking you are a better person... Going off and doing all these "fabulous" things without the person who is singing, but realising that they really arent that great.
