Sports Illustrated Legends covers - The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is, in a word, legendary.

So it only makes sense that in honor of the 60th anniversary of the magazine, they would release seven covers — with three of them dedicated to the Legends themselves. In a gorgeous return, 52 past models including Christie Brinkley, Molly Sims, Martha Stewart, Paulina Porizkova, Tyra Banks and more shot group covers with photographer Yu Tsai to celebrate the franchise.

They could teach Vogue and Vanity Fair a thing or two about shooting a big group cover. Instead of bundling everyone under one masthead, having two separate covers in one makes it look less cluttered. The colours and positioning also makes more sense and more importantly that quality glossy photography that looks great on the news stand.
The single shots are just as stunning with that nice glowy photography.

If you have a chance to look at the photos inside they are PAINFULLY amateurish. I'm all for diversity but again sell me a fantasy, it honestly looks like street casting. 90% of these women do not know what to do with their face, but I am pleasantly surprised to see Chanel Iman return.

My last point is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for them to fly half way across the world to take the most mediocre photos that could have been done at your local community pool. Throw the budget for flights and Yu Tsai away and choose any instagram photographer who can produce a better result than this garbage.

Love the Kate Upton cover! She is beautiful and perfect for this very special Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Love the "60th" anniversary cursive font. Looking forward to seeing the print issue as the team usually does a great job with the photography.

There's something funny about @Bertrando3 posting this thread, when he shrieks to the high heavens about practically every magazine being awful and tacky...
I do know about the tackiness of SI ahahah BUT you'd have to agree with me that the group covers look much better than many Vogue covers of this last decade.

Everything is a mistake to show female beauty, ugly photos, ugly clothes.

Am I wrong to look for Anne Vyalitsyna? I’m pretty sure she is so deserving after appearing in many issues
