Hey everyone,

What do you think it's the best way to start working as a full-time assistant for a Fashion Editor/Stylist? I have already emailed a few agencies but they didn't get back to me. Is there any place online where I could find out personal emails?

Plus, what sort of experience do you have to have? I've been working as a luxury ecom stylist so far, no editorial experience whatsoever. Do you think it's enough to even be considered for an assistant?

Many thanks :D

There is already an interesting thread about getting work at a fashion magazine ... they discuss a lot about assisting, because this question comes up often: http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f90/what-education-needed-get-into-magazines-publishing-28903.html

And there is another thread about being an assistant in many different fashion genres: for an editor, for a freelance stylist, for a photographer, etc. You might find some nuggets of helpful information in here: http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f9...publicist-photographer-stylist-etc-93535.html
