I came across a little book called Swimwear in Vogue from 1910 to 1980 and scanned some of the goodies from this...

First off, I think this is Lisa Fonssagrives, certainly photographed by her husband to be Irving penn in 1952.

Especially the fish pic and Janice's pic, to me are unbelievable but for quite different reasons :wink::flower:

It's from the same American Vogue shoot from May 1979...with Janice, Patti and Gia partying on a beach :lol:

That is Suzy Parker. She also tried (for a time) her hand behind the camera not just in front.
