Herb shooting in color usually showcases his weaker points. But the Ryders shoot is just so effortlessly grand, glorious, glamorous. Unfortunate that there’s only 3 selects: this story deserved several more spreads (that I would gladly take over the Gisele/George one).

“Short Cuts” is great. Love Kirsten and Amy’s shot. Great styling, good looking cast. Classic Meisel. This was his heyday…commercial yet elevated.

It is like these random Demarchelier eds he shot for Marie Claire or Cosmopolitan when he had contract with Hearst... basic and instantly forgettable
