I blame to the clothes and the stylist of this. I actually like Bella's close up. I know that her face isn't that natural (sorry girl), but it's over the top picture, edgy, it could be a lost VI cover under Franca.

It’s as if they weren’t confident with the images so they felt the need to add something on top. I find it insulting and degrading to Meisel’s photographs.
Might as well go all the way, and instead of the dog filter, apply a Donatella filter over the top of all Meisel's shots which changes everyone's face to hers. It wouldn't be any less ridiculous.

There's a real nice shot of Irina Shayk which hasn't been posted yet, featured in the new March issue of British Harper's Bazaar. The shot is a closeup of Irina wearing a lime green coat with a matching handbag, very typical Meisel and it has suddenly become official for me that Irina has stole this entire campaign!

This paint slick over the images is so puerile. How does it relate to the richness of Versace? There's such a disconnect. The pictures alone are standard Meisel fare, but if you can't direct him to create something else then it's not cool to then vandalise his imagery afterwards. Ferdinando is clearly no M/M Paris.

Irina is the star of this campaign. Her pictures are featured the most out of all of them. Bella is obviously the gimmick and unfortunately Shalom is just happy to be there.
