Walking is the last thing you do in five-inch heels…

Hilarious story! I know what she means- going down stairs in heels (espescially with a pencil skirt) is almost impossible, and is exceptionally akward.

generally, 4 is my limit- and that's mostly for eveningwear- and then I am mostly sitting. (or dancing sometimes)

during the day, I like 3 inch, and If I'm doing a lot of walking, 2.

I've never even tried on 5 inch heels, but my favorite pair is a little over 4. Strangely enough, they are much more comfortable than my only pair of flats!
You've got to be my stiletto soul sister. :D

I want to try five inch heels now just to see if I can rise to the challenge. What's that thing about it's better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all? It probably applies to shoes, too.

I did wear heels, - in my twenties - but I never got on with the way they hurt me. Many a good night out ruined by being in agony.

When I turned thirty - I resolved two things - to only wear flat shoes and to never diet again - because both things made me miserable.

I still design heels though!
