seeing everything again and in HQ, i'm wondering what the hype was about. the presentation was, definitely, top notch. but the collection would have worked well with just half of those looks.

Liya's look of golden feathers is still awesome tho.

I was extremely fascinated by Galliano’s Dior in my teens, but this collection never cut it for me. Even less today, but funnily this collection seems to be the ”iconic” one that has managed to stay in peoples minds and keeps coming back in this instagram era. I just think it looks like a costume for a movie or something, just like the FW04 princess collection. FW02 HC, or SS05 HC, are much more interesting and ”fashion” than this.

I've never been able to fully warm to this collection. It all felt a little caricature-esque and the colours used I find really hard to take in because of the slight chintz look. Made for a fantastically bombastic ready-to-wear collection though.

Listening to Erin though is like therapy. She has such a cathartic oeuvre to modelling that is so appreciative of fashion being FASHION whilst being so Erin at the same time.
