yeah..i really like the asymmetrical lacy thing
and the black ones in the bottom row...
i almost bought them
but they were over $200 and i didn't have the money at the time

just pulled these out from around 2001 and wore them quite a bit over the summer as an alternative to slides or birkenstocks...
they remind me of tabi socks, which i didn't realize when i bought them...
*i know that sounds ridiculous, but i just liked them and thought they were cool...
i didn't have anything japanese in mind...
seems ridiculous to me now, though...
and of course- the only place i could find a pic of them is on a japanese website because i guess they see the connection pretty clearly...
