I went back several pages and didn't see any related threads, and also did a search that didn't pull up anything specifically for this topic, so I'm sorry if there is already a thread related here!

I'm looking to start making my own handbags and wallets. I've been looking for luggage clasps similar to this, but haven't been able to find a large variety.

So I was thinking for my benefit, and anyone else who was interested, of starting a thread of resources for people who want to sew bags.

I made this simple leather clutch and decorated it with bullet casings, it was very easy

Wow! How did you make that? And how long did it take you?

^^ It was a simple pattern, nothing crazy, it has a zipper underneath the flap. Once i got started, it took a couple of hours because that material was canvas and I used it as the lining as well to eat up left over fabric.
