pretty much anything from Elie Saab Spring 2006 couture would be great.

i think everybody knows how i feel about celebrities. :innocent:
for once, i wished they'd dressed nicely for the red carpet.

it's a tradegy that A LOT of people look to the red carpet as the source of the 'latest' fashion trends. which it quite obviously IS NOT!
but id i ever got to do something about it...

...i'd be full of:
-many many Rochas gowns
-the tattered sequined dresses from marc jacobs f/w '06
- and TAO cdg
etc..

but like that's going to happen...

^ that's a good one. i just hope she chooses something better than her last emmy appearance. that dress seemed to not fit correctly. anyway, the latest elie saab collection has some pretty gorgeous pieces so if ever she does choose to wear him, then she'd be fine. and i agree pastry. rochas should be worn a lot. i'm thinking the red carpet is getting too formulaic with people doing the same interpretation of glamour (or sweetness or sensuality, etc...). individuality seems to be lost and i'm hoping these celebrities would pull through.

^No Marcia Cross?

YES Marcia Cross. She's always a knock-out and her last appearance at the Emmys in that emerald Elie Saab is one of the best looks of all-time.

come on people, more suggestions! i'd make some myself, but y'all are better at it than i am. lol

this Armani Prive on Debra Messing
this Christian Lacroix on Megan Mullally

I cringe, and then laugh, every time I see the morning talk shows do their "style" segments and emulate the outfits of celebs. But, the truth is, what celebrities wear do have influence over what most people wear.

I hope Kate Winslet shows up at the Emmys, I hate it when movie actors get egotistical over television.

I honestly couldn' t dress anyone from that list since I have never heard of half of them. This year won' t be different than last years or the year before. Everyone will show up in either Elie Saab, Valentino, Marchesa (sp?) and Richard Tyler

i was just wondering as to what everyone thought would be the top designers this year.
classic chanel?
or armani?
maybe badgley mischka?
who else????

definitely Elie Saab, he's always big. maybe the Versace trend will continue from the Oscars. lol

I'm bumping this since the Emmy's are this weekend. Is there a list of presenters yet?
Anyone have any more predictions as to what the ladies will wear?
