Remember Ralph Lauren’s spring runway? It was an ode to the origins of chic sailing life: Deauville. Naturally, when it came to campaign time, nothing less than a set conjuring the luxe nautical life shot by Bruce Weber would do. A yacht was chartered, an elegant poolside party mocked up, a beautiful beach home booked. Presumably it was a rental, but in keeping with the spirit of the campaign, we’ll pretend it’s owned in full by one of the gorgeous cast members, including Sanne Vloet, shot in black-and-white by Weber.

So it's official then, no more Valentina? Haven't seen her at all last season. This shot looks good because it suits the brand. Obviously I'd like to see more. Never been a big fan of Bruce Weber, but he seems to be doing well for Ralph Lauren so far.

RL is no different to Kors at times, this incessant need to reiterate the brand values in favour of showcasing the actual clothes.

Wow, it's all in b&w, and it still looks lovely! Maybe Bruce Weber excels with brands like RL. No random animals or shirtless men eating ice-cream in sight.

Sanne is so, so beautiful, in that Ralph Lauren way, of course. If she plays her cards right, she could be set for life. Love the decor shot mainly because of the amber containers.
