All his entrances make me gag, but this one.. he went over the edge... Galliano dear, it's about the clothes, not about how "great" you think you are.

That's not Helena Christensen, is it? If so, whoa.
And again, thanks for the pictures! Yay!

Someone already posted a downloadable file in flv format at the Catwalk Video thread. But if you still want it in divx avi format, let me know, i can upload it for you.
I think I'm the only person who is extremely irritated by the attempt to co-op Art history to spruce up a poor imagination backed by little else than $$$ and fantastic tailoring. I'll say my piece and go, since what I say will offend a lot of Galliano fans, but out of all these gushing posts, it really doesn't hurt to have one that is more critical of the approach.
Anyone who understands Art would know that it isn't only about the subject of the art pieces but the way it was perceived and captured by the Artist. Eg. Sunflowers are just sunflowers until they are captured by the psychedelic mind of Van Gogh. This collection is no better if I get a top tailor to spend days making a dress like what Mona Lisa wore and then go to a dressing up ball in this costume as "Mona Lisa" with the exact hair and makeup. It's a joke! In no way will I exemplify the real genius of the Mona Lisa, it's just a costume, a Renaissance costume, or a Baroque costume, or a Roccoco costume, depending on the period of the artists imitated. There is no fashion design genius here, maybe very elaborate and laborious work on the costumes. Is Haute Couture about replicating gowns from historic periods? If Galliano had tried to replicate the bold strokes of Van Gogh into a fabric technique, for example, then I would appreciate his attempt at understanding the true genius or signature of the Artist and at the same time, push tailoring's envelope for HC, but he didn't. What irks me is that nothing here even advances fashion, a true art in its own way, the art of covering the human body. This is one huge society Theme Ball, called "Come dress as Characters in Famous Paintings", and Galliano provided all the elaborately sewn costumes.
I dont want.... I am just dying for that
