I think it's going to be exciting to see all that black on the red carpet tonight. It may seem like a lackluster color but a lot of actresses are likely to go in different directions (elegant, sultry, trashy) so that's going to keep it interesting. Plus, it's about time there is something interesting happening on a Golden Globes red carpet.

On a side note, what do you guys think about reports that some actresses are deliberately dressing in bright colors in contrast to the Time's Up movement? I heard Sarah Jessica Parker and Alicia Vikander are some of them; not sure how credible the rumor is, though.

It would be very controversial if they did.

SJP posted her "Time's Up" button and also posted about picking out black shoes, so I think she's following the idea. I'll admit that I'd rather see lots of different colors, but I appreciate the sentiment and am sure there will be some interesting black choices as well as cool jewelry.

Sarah Jessica is picking out a LBD indeed. Also, Ghesquiere posted “Tonight we wear black” on Instagram, and he is presumably dressing Alicia, so I guess the report might have been early talk or just pure gossip.
