I as well am excited to see Gwen getting some well-deserved hype. Her new polaroids are really beautiful, and hopefully this will help her show run next season. After all, 1 Management needs a new star to push next season, and Gwen could be just the girl. Can't you just see her as a quintessential MxMJ girl?!

Shes great but the thing is, her agency is not that good. If she transferred to Marilyn - her career would REALLY take off.

^Not to be hyper-critical, but Marilyn's recent "success" in developing new faces is less than astonishing. They've put all their money on Caroline and Irina to carry the business and seem to develop new faces far less frequently than other agencies. While 1Mgmt is hardly as large, they've had much more success as of late, in the directional movement of new faces.

Personally, I think she's far better off where she is.

^ you meant those girls' agencies in New York or in Paris? If NY, you are only right about Iekeliene. Coco is with Elite NY; Behati/Supreme NY; Mariya/Women NY. If you meant Marilyn in Paris, yes they are with Marilyn Paris. 1 model is a big agency. They have Anne V, Angela Lindvall, Claudia Schiffer, Olga Sherer... so...

I was discussing NYC offices as the primary agency that develops new faces, and mother agencies as discovering them...but I'll play along (though I should preface that this is not to derail the track of Gwen's thread).

Iekeliene is the only one on your list of examples actually at Marilyn in NYC. Behati is firmly locked with Supreme and was discovered by Storm, she just happens to be at Marilyn in Paris. Mariya Markina was originally a Supreme girl and then upgraded to Women. Coco is the backbone of Elite NYC, and just so happens to be at Marilyn in Paris, again not a "find" for the agency as Charles Stewart discovered her. The pointing being that sans Iekeliene, none of the girls you mentioned were discovered by Marilyn.

Again, my point was that I feel that 1Mgmt is in need of a new face that can generate buzz, particularly after the success of Olga Sherer's breakthrough last season, and that Gwen should stand to benefit from this agency.
