***oh just want to mention.. from the Chloe sample onwards, you just stitch it down (like in the couching instructions).. it's not a slip stitch.
the slip stitch is for a cut-out shape where you have to fold the raw edges under, and then stitch it to the base fabric.

These design pieces are quite beautiful, there is also a fantastic Australian applique designer,Stewart Merrett.He has produced a book called Applique Art and it details techniques to produce your own designs. He produces commissioned works and many are exquisite.

I loved all the samples you posted.. they do look a lot more simpler than they actually are when you try to replicate them but it's definitely worth a try..

you can also add stuffing underneath the cut-outs of fabric 
to give a relief or quilted effect. some people also put cord underneath and stitch around the cord (called "cording").

no it's not the same videos ...
in this video only the grandson of Mme Lemarié talked about Lemarié history and feathers. I thought it would be interesting (coz I thought it wasn't a House we talked a lot about in comparison to Lessage etc.) but if some videos already existed ... it's ok, i guess ...
