It´s funny to see most of these things repeating again and again in fashion throughout the years; of course with some minor differences, but the idea is the mainly same. It´s great to see those working women re-making their husbands jackets and pairing them with lovely under the knee length and bicoulored shoes and boots, belts, hats and gloves...

Great source of inspiration indeed^_^
 
i agree, piewi --in fact if you visit the corresponding decade threads in the History of Style forum, you can totally see similarities with the fashion happening now.. for a while i see designs and think it's completely new, but realise after now they've just played on like ideas.. colours, shapes, small details,textures. it's really great though, such a surprise
 
20a-40s style are my favorites, fascinating glimpse into our history.
