Ouch! Am I the only person who actually likes Julia's video? I love that smile she gives in the back of the car when she knows the chauffeur (and everyone watching the video) can't take their eyes off her. Her eyes actually smoulder. And the dress is just this side of the trashy everyone seems to be accusing her of, while every other outfit she wears is bang on beautiful, as I would expect from Julia. The last several pages of negative comments seem directed at the fact that she is so confident in her own skin: good for her, I say; from where I'm sitting, she is totally justified.

^ I don't find her trashy or too confident. I love that. Personally it just makes me cringe when celebs or models do ~sexy photoshoots and videos with their current partners. And that film is just plain crappy.

I like Tatler shoot. She's got great body and the make up is perfect for her. Very sexy.

She's getting a bit desperate, non?

The film was not egdy, fashion forward, glamorous or elegant. Just very, very trashy.

thought the video was kinda tongue in cheek...but the kissing was the awkward bit!!

i'm getting over her also. and it started with all the boob exposure in the parties with the seethrough dresses, then her grand birthday just to show how important she is in NYC with the giftbags for all the guests, then this video - who is not good in any way, its just boring to watch, then the tatler shoot. really - whats next - in half a year we gonna have her second movie premiere - "One night in Julia"?

Julia is featured in Nylon magazine's April issue (source: I want to be a Roitfeld)

A shoot like the Nylon one just goes to prove she can do stuff without being trashy but still have a strong sense of sexuality. Which is what infuriates me when she does the other stuff.

Film Director Observes That Fashion People Can Be ‘Extremely Bitchy’
After Indira Cesarine was ridiculed for her four-minute-long film The Crush, starring Julia Restoin Roitfeld and her boyfriend, Robert Konjic, the budding director fought back on TFS: "Apparently my short fashion film with Julia Roitfeld is an absolute horror, and I should commit fashion suicide before making another film — what do you think? have I dug my own grave daring to try to be a director, or are they just being extremely bitchy? maybe it's time to become a happy housewife and forget about this ***%$%^#$%^ business." Girl, we've all been there.

what a baby. dont put your stuff out their if you don't want it talked about.

apparently, this director thinks we aren't entitled to our own opinions on this short.

No director worth their salt that I know would publicly whine about getting criticized. She needs to grow up, get a thicker skin and maybe next time try making a decent film
