Best Covers of 2006 -with cvr thumbnails-

What's your opinion on Vogue Russia, Liberty Rose? There were some good covers this year, but Vogue Russia changes the lay-out of its covers to much, I think three or four times in two years. And Lee Broomfields style can be a bit repetitive, for example his two Tanya D. covers are almost identical.

I am not familiar with Vogue Russia.

The combination of two of my favorite models - Gemma Ward and Sasha Pivovarova - doesn't hurt, but the real reason I enjoy this cover so much is the attitude all three portray. All models, especially Sasha, look striking and eye-catching. Not to mention, the text is balanced out perfectly with the image.

The text on this cover is terrible. I admit to that fact. Terrible, terrible, terrible! Who in their right mind would choose bright yellow font and plaster it over Sasha's gorgeous face? Anyway, I love this cover for the picture, which I find unbelievably beautiful. It's a shame that the editors decided to ruin the picture with that ungodly text

Vogue Russia had a lot of nice covers this year, my favorite are the May cover with that gorgeous blue floral Gucci gown and the last 2 with allthe models in black leather, and the McQueen gown. Thanks for posting!!

Vogue Italia - Heather Bratton's May cover and Karen Elson's Dec cover These were the best of the year, in my opinion

Vogue UK - Elise's January cover

W - Art Issue with Freja and, surprisingly, Mary-Kate

Flair - Julia Dunstall's November cover

Worst covers: All US Vogue covers. Don't like them at all... And Janet Jackson's W cover was hideous.
