lafindesiecle-- here are some ideas on how to wear the dress:

-denim jacket with oxfords and oversize sunglasses
-ankle boots
-belt it with a brown belt
-or belt it with a black belt and black shoes
-try a cream fedora
-oxfords would look adorable with that dress along with a fedora to make it more casual
-leather jacket
-black blazer (cropped or boyfriend style)
-black tights with, black ankle boots and a black blazer

as far as the wedding goes, try nude pumps and a belt. as far as jewelry, for necklaces, I would go simple and short since the dress is already a statement. otherwise, pile on the bangles! I also really like your mary janes with that dress and think that would be fine at a wedding.

i would try a pretty flat for day or night that has sparkle to it, not necessarily literally, but a little color or detail that creates some energy, its a very pretty dress.

For day either a wedge or a funky cut-out flat plus a shoulder bag in an natural tan colour:

I agree with above posters -- for day especially I think a slightly embellished ballet flat or a cutout oxford flat would be sweet + cute -- but I'd also say that you could definitely pair that with some serious statement shoes, be that a chunky architectural ankle boot or some bold colour.

^^ you could go kind of cute and 50's rocker pinup-y with that too -- slim slightly-cropped or cuffed jeans, a tee or 50s-ish sweater with a fitted leather jacket and a high ponytail would be adorable!
