Warum die gesamte Gucci-Crew kürzlich auf den Semmering fuhr
Supermodel Stella Lucia ist in der neuen Gucci-Werbekampagne zu sehen. Geshootet in Österreich.
Manchmal kann es sogar von Vorteil sein, wenn man aus Österreich stammt. So wie Stella Lucia Deopito, geboren am 12. August 1998 in Haus im Ennstal. Von Beruf Model. Und was für eines.
Seit sechs Jahren eilt die Steirerin von einem Superjob zum nächsten. Der bislang letzte ergab sich bei einem Shooting in London. Stella Lucia stand für Gucci vor der Kamera – klar, für wen denn sonst als für das momentan gehypteste Modelabel der Welt.
„Das war lustig,“ erzählt sie beim Frühstück im Wiener Café Europa. "Ich habe bei einem Gespräch des Teams rausgehört, die fliegen alle nach Österreich. Ich hab gefragt: 'Was macht’s ihr dort? Ich bin aus Österreich.' Da wollten sie mich auch dabei haben. Alessandro Michele (Kreativchef von Gucci, Anm.) hat mir dann gesagt, er hat vermutet, ich sei aus Spanien."
Gucci am Semmering
Es ging um die Gucci-Werbekampagne für kommenden Herbst und Winter. Fotografiert und gefilmt wurde sie – am Semmering. Stella Lucia: "Wenn ich nach Hause fahre, fahr' ich natürlich über den Semmering. Aber im Südbahnhotel und im alten Kurhaus, wo die Gucci-Kampagne geshootet wurde, war ich dann das erste Mal."
Los ging es im März. Stella Lucia: "Es war super lustig! Wir sind da alle jeden Tag von Wien raufgefahren. Es war eine supergroße Produktion mit langen Wartezeiten. Aber während wir warteten, ist extra ein Trainer gekommen, der uns den Maitanz beigebracht hat, der dann gefilmt wurde. Dann gibt’s die Szene, wo wir alle am Tisch tanzen. Da hat uns auch, während andere geshootet haben, ein Schauspieltrainer die Szenen vorgemacht." Zu sehen auf Instagram, wo Stella Lucia über 80.000 Followers hat (#stellaluciadeopito).
Alle Gegenstände, mit denen die Fotos vollgeräumt sind, wurden extra von Setdesignern in LKWs aus London gebracht. Stella Lucia: "In den Gebäuden ist nix mehr drinnen, die sind ausgestorben." Übernachtet wurde in Wien. "Ich hab mich dann ein bisschen über mich geärgert. Die anderen Models und das ganze Team haben im Hotel Imperial, im Bristol und im Sacher gewohnt. Und ich habe mir zuerst gedacht, ich mach’s mir gemütlich und schlaf zu Hause. Aber ich glaube es wäre gemütlicher gewesen, im Sacher zu wohnen (lacht)."
Es ist bei Weitem nicht die erste Werbekampagne, in der man Stella Lucia bald in sämtlichen Modezeitschriften bewundern können wird. Hat sie doch bereits für Chanel, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Versace usw. und auch für Gucci gut bezahlte Kampagnen geschossen. Auch auf angesagten Covers und den wichtigsten Laufstegen dieser Welt ist sie zugegen. Zuletzt im Juli bei Miu Miu und bei Fendi Couture.
Österreich hilft
Mit Kosmas Pavlos, ihrem Agenten bei ihrer Agentur Wiener Models, wird seit Beginn ihrer Karriere gemeinsam über jeden Termin weltweit entschieden, ob rotes oder grünes Licht gegeben wird. Kosmas Pavlos: "Ich bewundere ihr Durchhaltevermögen." Stella Lucia: "Er ist eine große, große Hilfe."
Und bei noch etwas war Österreich sehr hilfreich. 2014, beim ersten Termin in Paris – bei Givenchy – lernte sie die Exchefin der französischen Vogue, Carine Roitfeld, kennen. Als diese hörte, woher Stella Lucia kommt, meinte sie sofort: "Da muss ich dich dem Karl vorstellen, der hat so einen Österreichbezug." Stella Lucia: "So bin ich ohne Casting bei der Chanel-Show gelandet. Bis heute. Karl hat gleich Deutsch mit mir gesprochen und ich war und bin begeistert, wie lieb und höflich er ist."

But it was the first time I went to the South Railway Hotel and the old Kurhaus, where the Gucci campaign was shot."
It all started in March. Stella Lucia: "It was super fun! We all drove up from Vienna every day. It was a super big production with long waiting times. But while we were waiting, a coach came to teach us the May dance, which was then filmed. Then there's the scene where we all dance at the table. All objects, which the photos are full of, were brought specially by set designers in trucks from London. Stella Lucia: "There's nothing inside the buildings anymore, they're extinct." We stayed overnight in Vienna. "I got a little angry with myself. The other models and the whole team stayed at Hotel Imperial, Bristol and Sacher. And at first I thought I'd make myself comfortable and sleep at home. But I think it would have been more comfortable staying in Sacher (laughs)."
It is by no means the first advertising campaign in which Stella Lucia will soon be featured in all fashion magazines. She has already shot well paid campaigns for Chanel, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Versace etc. and also for Gucci. Austria helps
