Tokyo Midtown

thanks for the info and tips about natto...
i'm glad i waited to buy it ...
now i know that i should stir it first...i had no idea...
or about adding soy sauce...
...

i really like the boxes for the pins as well...
lovely presentation...

i think i saw a pic of that ugo cacciatori pin online at one point and i liked it...
what i couldn't figure out was how bit it is...

the joaquin berao stuff is really nice...
i really like the stars- even though they are earrings...
i like the irregular shape...

maybe that is what bugs me about the ugo cacciatori pin and kept me from ordering it...?
maybe too symmetrical?
^_^

Hey Softie and Runner! I remembered we were talking about Japanese music and I wanted to share this song with you two; I think it's one of my favorite Christmas songs, certainly my favorite Japanese Christmas song...which is funny because it's in English, and actually I find the English version fits the music much better than the Japanese. This is as sentimental as I ever get, guys, this is it, LOL!

I just love the line: "I want to show you everything I see "

thanks Melisande

not christmas songs especially but my fave songs that might sound a bit more special around this time of the year would be "how beautiful" and "fantasia" by asako toki. seems like all the videos for how beautiful have been deleted at youtube right now, but here is one for fantasia. "kimi ni koioshita seiza wa yuki ni kawaru" it's about the moment such as when stars of constellations turn into snow.

thanks M~!

this is something I wish was more common in the west...
promotional giveaways are only common with cosmetics here...
i especially like that magazines in japan often come with a free gift...
i remember i got a magazine in tokyo that came with a small jar of body shop body cream...so nice!

thanks for the music and the translations guys...
i enjoyed listening...
-_-

how nice is this top...
i thought you might like it as much as i do melisande because i remember you have a devore dress, no>?

Oh yes I do like it a lot!! In fact it feels like I already own it, LOL!
You know can count on me to be a little bit on the black, baroque side.
I'd wear it with an overly-long sleeved fitted soft black woolen tee underneath and black silk sweeping maxi skirt or my black linen maxi skirt and my Doc boots.

Runner that song is beautiful, first time I hear it. Thanks! :flower:

funny---you must be taller than me...at least 5'6" i'd say...
sounds great but i could never pull that off at only 5'4"
i don't have anything like it but...
i would wear it with my wide cropped YY pants and my hi heel af vandevoorst boots that lace up the back...

^_^...

yes- the brass cuff is cool...you're lucky...
another of those things i can't pull off...:(
tiny wrists...
:ninja:

Yeah...I'm 5'6'', but for some reason everyone thinks I'm at least 5'7"...strange how I look much taller. Maybe my very long hair does something and I like wearing over-long things. Your boots sound great!! Yeah, you're right re the bracelet, I have small wrists too, it may be a little too wide.

fyi- i went and tried on those pleats please puffy pants and they just didn't work on me...
:(

that might mean you should try the jumpsuit?

the jeans look great!

kotatsu for a cat is hilarious!
and the sushi maker is clever and also fun...

i am amused by the tangerine peel kotatsu in that link you posted...
only the japanese would do that because it's a japanese thing...
very cool and kawaii!

this kind of handmade stuff is available too.

:buzz:...

awwww....
could that be any more kawaii?!?!.....

so charming and playful...
i'm so in love with those pleats please ads!
thanks for making me smile, runner......

that handwoven kitty dome is lovely...
especially because it would actually look nice in a home...
but i have to object to any sort of house or thing like that for kitties because i just love to watch them when they sleep...
:ninja:...

seeing a kitty all curled up in a ball or stretched out on it's back with it's feet in the air is one of the most enjoyable sights i can think of and i wouldn't want to miss that ...
...:innocent:...

i mean...even the pleats please sleeping kitty is making want to hug and squeeze it!...
...

^^yesterday i went to get cat food, etc and spent a few minutes just watching the kitties in the pet store sleeping...
so sweet...
^_^

so- i have been trying to find some soyjoy bars...
i could have sworn that i saw them in the store...
but then i realized that where i saw them was in the game rooms in tokyo...
in some of the children's games this was one of the possible prizes!
...
silly me...

anyway- i finally did manage to find some online and i got two flavours...
strawberry and blueberry...pretty basic flavours...

well-
i just tried the strawberry one and :buzz:...
YUMMMMM!!!!~~~!!!~~~!!!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: ...

thank for the recommendation runner!
:flower:...
