What festivals will you attend?

Anyone hitting up music festivals this summer?

I'm hoping to make it to Wisconsin for Summerfest.. (although I hate Wisconsin , its a personal problem).. and I wish I could go to Lollapalooza..but I am dead broke!

Please tell me which ones you are planning to go to.. Pitchfork Music Festival? Austin City Limits Festival? So many good ones, so little time!

I'll probably do coachella as usual, i want to go to the first day only but my friends want to see all the crappy bands in the second day so, i dont know...first day or nothing!.


i'm dying to go to Tennessee for the Bonnaroo music and arts festival but..i'm 90% sure i wont go.

Skye Music Festival, which is held on the Isle of Skye on the west of Scotland. The Fun Lovin Criminals and KT Tunstall are headlining

The Quart festival in Kristiansand, Norway. Depeche Mode headlining, that's all I can say. *love DM* Can't wait!

I think Gogol Bordello could be fun, as well as Placebo, curious about Wolfmother, a lot of fuss around Arctic Monkeys, Clap your hands say yeah, We are scientists, Infadels. Kanye West and Kelis may be good, although it's not what I listen to regularly.

Electric Picnic in Laois, Ireland - of the artists announced so far there I want to see: Devendra Banhart, Antony and the Johnsons, Belle & Sebastian, yeah yeah yeahs, dEUS, Damien Rice and Rufus Wainright.

And the week before that I shall be at Radiohead w/ Beck. Practically a festival when you consider all the talent

if they were i'd be surprised. as you said they weren't sold out as the festival started last year so i doubt they will this year. i surely haven't bought my ticket yet ..and it would lovely if you decided to come let me know if you do!

i'm going to pitchfork...i started a thread on it here

lollapalooza is the next weekend...i really want to stay in chicago for that, but i'm not sure if we can. we might roadtrip it out there so it's up to everyone's schedules.

i wanted to go to all tomorrow's parties, but that's not going to happen i went to atp in los angeles in 2000? i think? and it was amazing. i had so much fun! and i'd LOVE to go to reading!

^fran, ATP looks amazing! I would love to go the shins day .. the shins, the decemberists, AND the new pornographers.. ay ay ay! I wish I had the money. If I win the lottery I shall do nothing but travel to music festivals all day!

I must admit I'm not the hippest- don't know ALL the cool little bands and I'm late to the bandwagon, especially as of recently.. I haven't been finding any new acts but I should check out some of these that are on these tours
