Your Favourite Movies of 2005

I just saw the 40-Year Old Virgin, finally. I have been waiting forever. I'm so glad I did. It was amazing; I honestly thought it was a revelation.

How many movies do you see where the cast is as multiracial and multicultural as that?
And people of different races aren't used as punchlines to make fun of and condescend to, but actual CHARACTERS that have real personalities, and sometimes even AMERICAN ACCENTS.
How many movies do you see where the friendships/relationships are portrayed as realistic as that?
How many movies do you see where the acting is as natural as that?
How many movies do you see where the boss is a woman and her employees are all men and the men actually RESPECT her?

Answer: None. None but THIS ONE.

Good show, director. Good show.
