I couldn’t care less about what Doutzen says about those theories around Co-vid 19. But I have to say that I find very accurate that image speaking how TV (or any mass media) can transform people into silly and blinded lambs.

It is good to be skeptical. But, while academia has its flaws, to completely disregard people who dedicate their lives to studying these things is delusional. Like Benn98 said, conspiracies are irrelevant to the fact that people are getting infected and dying. You can connect whatever the f*ck dots you want to try to make yourself feel better but that does not negate the truth of the matter. This modern dark age bs is getting ridic. Speaking like that, esp as a public figure, is extremely dangerous. However, when the time comes, she and any other sheep that want to join her can have fun getting sick while I get the rona vaccine

People like Doutzen are absolute poison. For me as a person who is very ill and spends a lot of time in hospital and surgery, there is nothing more disgusting on Instagram than these wellness preachers who believe their good fortune in health is due to their ultraprivileged healthy lifestyle. Obviously eating well and working out improves your life, but lets be clear, the main and most prevalenct reason anyone is not seriously ill is because they were born lucky. And if you aren't, the amazing feats of modern medicine are the only things that help, not your "vitamins and foods rich in nutrients" as Doutzen says. And our governments do care (not the US but others), which is why they make sure we have hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical care free when we need it. Why do we spend so much time cancelling people over nothing when we should be cancelling these spoiled brats?

Chiara is annoying and privileged but she doesn't pretend to be anything else than what she is, unlike Doutzen who thinks she knows more than medical researchers from doing a few Google searches after a career spending a lifetime posing in her underwear.

Doutzen is such a bad influence and should be held accountable for posting this dangerous opinions, especially since she has so many followers. First it was the "I'm happy with corona" thing that screamed privilige and ignorance and now this.... I have always disliked her anyway and now I finally understand why.

Re Doutzen, I can already tell that she'll be an anti-vaxxer when the coronavirus vaccine eventually rolls out, lol. I've read her IG post and I think what she's saying there is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what she believes. Who knew the Frisian village girl not only had good looks but can also throw down a good conspiracy theory.
I have heard all sorts of outlandish theories throughout this pandemic. 'The virus was manmade by China in a bid to turn the world upside down', 'the virus was made by big pharma to get all of us hooked on medication and control us with the vaccine', 'the virus was created to decrease the global population because we are too many on this earth.' All of which are of course unfounded in more ways than one and I don't even want to entertain them with a counter-argument. Because when all is said and done, people are still getting infected and dying every day across the globe. So keep your nutjob conspiracies to yourself if only out of respect to the rest of us who don't want to get sidetracked with such drivel.

I wanted to say 'where's Chiara? Let me get Chiara to read her to filth again' but Chiara won't have a leg to stand on because she's too busy vacationing and not social distancing in a country which a month ago saw the highest death toll of COVID victims in the world.

Yes, i haven't been here for ages. Gratuated as Gastroenterologist, got a job as one and working my *** off. But also i lost my interest when all the big campaigns and covers went to the Hadids/Jenners and Gerbers of the industry. Lol i was thinking the same about Chiara!

I think it's always good to ask critical questions and to think about stuff, but she is not asking critical questions. She insinuate that " they" don't want "us" to be healthy and comes up with vitamines. These are not critical questions coming from a scientific research, but from hours (lol) online research from youtube video's. So prove that vitamines are a solution, hire independent scientists and fight facts with facts. But she has none and that's why she responds to people who are critical or don't agree with her by calling them sheep or ignorant. You can't post the next day a kindness is free card, if you aren' t nice to people. Really immature. She lost all her credibility. But hey, her sister is probably coming up in a few weeks with a new book full of recipes with vitamines.

She's sounding very very conspiracy theorist. But what's also disappointing is all the other influential models agreeing with her saying.

I wish these people would visit ICU wards or speak to doctors who are treating COVID-19 patients.

The problem is, there are just as many scientists, doctors and “experts” who have information that tell a very different story, but somehow, the “trust the science, trust all experts” adage doesn’t apply when there are scientists who aren’t in agreement with the official narrative. When they don’t tow the line, a “doctor” all of a sudden becomes a “crackpot.”

^ Wait, but what would be the official narrative? of Covid-19? and who are the scientists not in agreement?, are you just talking about an American context (Fauci, etc)?. If you have any experience with scientific research or reading science papers, it's actually a part of any study to leave things open for continuity (for more research and questioning) so.. official is more like a political terminology, or something that works anywhere else really (e.g. fashion). There are empirically proved things in science, and things that are not, it doesn't 'officialise' advancement. If you take that into account, you will see varying angles of one same object of study that, without critical thinking in shape, CAN be interpreted as 'telling a different story', you'll see the Oxford research varies from the one at King's College and they both have a different approach than say, Wuhan or La Jolla or Rega Institute. As you can imagine, the American approach is anchored on its problem with pharmaceutical vulturism and lobbying (and they pay enough to 'state facts', discredit, get you hooked on ~medicine~, make you suspicious of everything so you end up preaching about hot water with lemon peel), so that might be confusing, but science itself isn't.. covid-19 remains mostly unknown.. its long-term effects are unknown and there's no treatment to directly target it so it will continue for years (even after some useful treatment is found) to be approached from different angles and once a new line of study is found, it will be challenged and discarded if it does not resist rigorous testing.

One thing that is not up for debate is that it is a virus. You don't kill a microorganism just by leading a 'holistic and organic' wellness-centered lifestyle, the same way you're not really removing bacteria off a table by rubbing oregano oil on it and do have to resort to good ol' Lysol. In this case, you need an antibiotic. Yes, it would help a lot if people could be on top shape and do their best to mitigate this stupid pandemic and at least skip the need for a ventilator (eat your veggies, do cardio to stretch these flabby lungs, reduce sugar, lose weight, make sure you're not vitamin deficient).. but that will not prevent a virus from entering your body, the way eating carrots day and night would not make you HIV resistant lol, it will just help you to face the disease with more dignity.

Doutzen shows cult-ish potential if you ask me lol. May she never move to LA . I think it's great that she comes from a family that 'questions everything' but barely finishing high school is showing. Intentions are good but there's no foundation. She's giving us that 'alarmist aunt compulsively posting dodgy ~the truth the government doesn't want you to know~ facebook content' vibe.

This narrative doesn't even work. Mullet is in the US, where the government IS at odds with the prevailing science around Covid.
