So yeah which ones have made you cry or get teary eyed? "I am Sam" made me very upset at some parts and that resulted in me tearing up every time i see the movie.

The Color Purple.....When I first saw that movie I cried 9 times and not just a tear, now i was like Niagra Falls over and over....

Most recently:

Big Fish-everybody in the theater was crying.
Even though it was supposedly "funny" I cried at the end of Pumpkin.

Love Story
Sweet November
Anna Karenina

What can I say? I hate it when she dies...

Moulin Rouge.......to this day it's the only movie that's choked me up.

when I was younger, E.T... and I mean sobbing on my mom's lap.

But these days...

The Color Purple
Steal Magnolias
Terms of Endearment
Forrest Gump
Cold Mountain

and plenty more... maybe I'm just too emotional, who knows

My dog skip
The Notebook

I'm not a big cry-er when it comes to movies. My dad is the worst though! He cried during Mrs.Congeniality.. :ninja:

The Green Mile
Eternal Sunshine
Big Fish
Dr. Zhivago

Bicentennial Man
Artificial Intelligence
Life as a House
Pay it Forward

And when I was young, and from fear:
The Nutcracker (animated Rat version) :ninja:

Have you read the book?

"Shindler's List" is the last movie that made me cry.

Also, "The Fast and the Furious". I cried because I could not beleive how low our culture has sunk that a movie like that can make a load of money... :censored:

Faust, don't forget the week Farenheit 9/11 was no. 1, White Chicks was no. 2.

I haven't read it, I should do it one of these days.

have you seen the original movie? I heard it's pretty good, I only had the chance to see the recent remake with Keira Knightley and that other guy whose name I can't remember :P but it was good in my opinion... I cried almost as much as I cried with The Green Mile  .

second skin (i was depressed for days and going through a break up)
when love comes (cheesy foreign movies tend to do it)
beaches (but that's only bc the guy i was dating was bawling his eyes out)
the talented mr ripley (break-up induced, again)
end of the affair (just a tear)
old yeller (i was young and i had a dog)

I cant say that i really cried, just choked up watching

Jaws 3 (when the man gets eaten on his boat, the one that was a fisherman, cant remember his name, and i was about 15).

Lassie used to get me going when he got wounded.

the green mile

some parts of The sixth sense

I didn't see it, but I want to see the original too. The book is incredible. It won Nobel Prize. I get to read it in the original B) .

lucky you, I always feel sort of guilty for watching the adaptation in film before reading the story in the book.
