Techno rock band The Prodigy was formed in 1990 by Liam Howlett, Keith Flint, Leeroy Thornhill and MC Maxim Reality. They signed to XL Records and released their first EP, What Evil Lurks. The Prodigy's 1991 single "Charly" used samples of a road safety advertisement and it reached #3 in the UK. Their follow-up EP, Everybody In the Place, reached UK #2. They had a series of UK hits including the Top 20 "Fire" and "Wind It Up," and the Top 10 "Out Of Space." Their 1992 debut album, The Prodigy Experience also reached the UK Top 20. The Prodigy's next singles, "One Love" and "No Good (Start the Dance)," were both UK Top 10 hits and Music For The Jilted Generation entered the UK charts at #1. In 1996, they had two UK #1 hits with "Firestarter" and "Breathe." Their 1997 album Fat Of The Land debuted in both the UK and US at #1. "Firestarter" and "Breathe" were both US Modern Rock hits in 1997. A remix album, The Dirtchamber Sessions, Vol. 1, was released in 1999. Experience: Expanded was a 2001 compilation album. 2002's "Baby's Got A Temper" was a UK Top 5 and US Dance Top 10 hit.

Yay! I like them. Seen them live twice, and went to a club when Leeroy dj-ed..twas fun.

^ sounds like really cheesy drum&bass. I remember when I used to hear stuff like this all the time about 10 years ago at raves, we used to call it clownstep lol

I prefer their older stuff.
