I don't think the Lanvin collection is too bad. I like the skirts and some of the dresses look identical to his collection pieces ('look' only - I'm sure they're very different in person!)

Whoever thought it was a good idea to make this collection look this trashy and cheap at the runway show should be fired. HIDEOUS! It looks more Ungaro than Lanvin on the runway.

I do get that some designer wear isn't technically flattering to the figure, as there's a graphic aesthetic too, but those 'prom' dresses with the ribbon waist tie make even the models look disproportionate, so what would they do to a woman with an average figure??

it's so weird because this is nothing like the lanvin we see in paris on the runway at fashion week!

It will sell out anyhow, and that in max. 30 min. after the stores open on the 23rd.

Wow. I wasn't sure I'd be buying anything from the collaboration, but that runway show put me off for good. Wallet, you can rest assured now!

Oh my god. It looks awful. I wanted some things before but now I'm not sure anymore.
The only thing I still want are the sunnies, and maybe a lipstick.

I would have guessed that most people are capable of looking past the hideous styling and seeing the pieces for what they are, but I guess not...?

Has anyone seen these shoes at any of the L.A. stores ? I have some in black that I got this summer and they are really great.

I agree! The styling itself is horrible and makes it all look ridiculously cheap, but the fit is terrible on those dresses! They're just shapeless and unflattering on the people they should look best on, what hope is there for the "average" customer? I'm quite glad though really, it saves the effort and money of tracking down the pieces I had thought I liked.
