Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

It's weird how the general public seems only to focus on Naomi Campbell's name on the list (along with a Chris Evans and a Will Smith, both of whom don't refer to the actors but are being widely misinterpreted) when there are many other public figures, such as those Benn stated above, that should be equally mentioned as being connected to Epstein in one way or another.

I don't think anyone is only focusing on Naomi but given the sheer number of times her name has appeared on flight logs and her seemingly close relationship with Epstein, Ghislaine and Brunel, hers appears to be particularly egregious.

Graydon's involvement is well documented. There's a new Netflix doc and everything.

I'm surprised at all the Brits on that list! High-level aristos and upper crust. And then someone as random as, say, Chris Tucker, all his contacts. His assistant, house, and mobile number.

lol at her "message from Naomi" video but in interview format featuring an obscured interviewer's suggestive questions..

Isn't Tom Ford in the list, too?

probably erring on stupidity here (let me stay naive please ) but I have my doubts on whether everyone in that black book was actively involved. When it comes to some of these people that just open doors and bring an enormous amount of opportunities and contacts, everyone around them is complicit to some degree but also kind of like.. moths. You see this in every field to varying degrees.. there's always someone that seems to be perpetually followed by horrible rumors and actual sightings of sketchy nature (drug trade/consumption, bribery, sexual harassment, corruption, misusing funds, leaking information, you name it). Bringing them to justice is hardly an option but most people won't even stay away because they're getting something out of that relationship.. so they will downplay that person's reputation, excuse it ("doesn't play by the book!") or simply swear by oblivion until the end. You even see that on tFS (to use this microcosm as an example).. with the right amount of luxury and status offering, a designer will get a pass regardless of known behavior. What am I saying? I don't think moral complicity is quite as horrible as the actual crime. I doubt everyone there was aware of his involvement in child-trafficking (just like not everyone working in diplomacy was involved in the major networks dismantled a few years ago).. but certainly lured by the heights he reached by doing that and willing to overlook the red flags.

That being said, unless she's an idiot and completely illiterate, I think Naomi was aware.. it isn't just one accidental encounter with large-scale criminal activity for her. I have always heard about her temper but didn't know much about her until I ended up watching some videos during quarantine.. where at some point she always wants whoever she's 'interviewing' to agree 'nothing like those days, right?'. That and the odious "do not compare yourself to me!" video that everyone recycles and applauds like 'yas queen!'.. it says quite a bit on her character, her sense of privilege, arrogance and how untouchable she thinks she is. With that sense of self and the idea that you're in a special group that can get away with so much because it's the most powerful of the powerful or richest of the rich, criminality only stops looking like naughtiness when it's publicly condemned..

Yep, the best example on here is how everyone will jump on designers for the tiniest things but never seemed to care that Valentino kept using Terry long past the day the stories of his behaviour were stacked up and well known by the public and long past the season other major players had stopped.

I do agree with you that it was highly unlikely even most of the people in the black book were involved in the darker behaviour or even maybe aware.

Christy’s response. I do want to believe her, but I think she’s going to need to do more than an instagram comment to clear her name. Seems pretty legit though.

Meanwhile, Naomi has turned off/limited comments and is promoting her workout live on her ig story. Vile.

That sort of darkly suspicious speculation may just as well be applied any dominant figure in any creative industry: Art, film, dance, music…(Look at all the women that knowingly associated with Harvey and remained silent when he had free reign. But once he was taken down...) And there’s always a level of truth to all of it: That they are knowingly associating with some shady entity. And the players like Christy and Naomi are going to run into the more powerful sinister components of it at some time in their long career— whether it’s willingly or involuntarily only they know; but likely both and to varying extend. And still, they’re just best known as famous gorgeous women— which doesn’t distract nor diminish any humanitarian contributions they may have made to the world at large. Back in the late-80s, Christy confessed that she was always self-conscious (embarrassed) when asked what her profession was in a roomful of artists/writers. So already from earlier on in her career, she was always possessed of a sense of self-awareness, and humility— of which so many many many people in this industry-- not just famous models, alarmingly seem to lack; thinking they are so important and every single human should bow before them (when in the context of world issues, fashion is so unimportant and nobody cares about designers and models). And for that, her humanitarian and philanthropist interests/efforts seem a natural course and progression for her personality, and not as some guilty-conscience and as a redemption for some suspected sinful past.

(Naomi on the other hand LOL is obviously drawn to power and influence. It’s not surprising that she’s been associated with shady/controversial/questionable (in)famous men. She remains a great model to me. As an individual, I’m not so interested in her.)

She does sound agitated in that message. I'm with Annie Hall.

Supermodel Bar Refaeli on Tuesday signed a plea deal to perform nine months’ community service in Israel over tax-evasion charges — while her mother will serve 16 months in prison.

The deal is part of a years-long criminal probe into the 35-year-old model (above), who was accused of falsely claiming she lived with then-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio in the US rather than Tel Aviv.

Along with Refaeli’s community service, her mother, Tzipi Refaeli, agreed to serve 16 months behind bars — and they will each pay fines of almost $725,000 plus $2.3 million in back taxes, the Times of Israel said.

Refaeli — who gave birth to her third child in January — had argued that her on-off relationship with DiCaprio made them a family unit, justifying her claims that the United States was her home at the time, rather than Israel.

But prosecutors said she and her mother used it as a cover to hide tens of millions of dollars in earnings from tax authorities in Israel between 2009 and 2012, according to the reports.

Refaeli’s lawyers said the plea bargain proved she hadn’t intentionally evaded tax payments.

“In the relevant time period, Bar was in her early 20s, was working as an international model and was not involved in financial matters,” they said in a statement.

“Today she is taking responsibility for mistakes that were made.”
