I have two tone hair, though it's out of pure laziness because I haven't had the patience to dye it in a long, long time. I can't say that I meant to follow this trend!

Ombre hair, untless it's a very subtle fade from medium blonde to a lighter blonde or medium brown to a lighter brown, is not really my thing. It even visually irritates me when jet black hair fades to brown - or worse - blonde. I just think the colors black and brown do not go together at all, it almost looks like theres brown dirt in your hair. Here's what I mean:

That being said, I currently have a case of reverse ombre, due to growing out my natural blonde locks (i died them black before) I don't like it at all

Something similar happened to me, I had dyed my hair light and kept like this for 2 years , but then i decided i do not want to dye them anymore and had no idea what to do with them, so my natural color started to be visible and with that people started asking where did i get my ombre, cause they liked it a lot, I was always confused, cause that was just my hair growing I also didnt plan to follow this trend , but the more ppl asked the more I liked it

I like the ombre that is in the first piccy.
hehe but quite opposite I do not like the last one, it is just like blond color for me, it is nothing special, does not make any impression ,just normal hair.

i guess since two-tone hair (as the name already suggests) is supposed to be more obvious than just blonde fading to blonde basically, i do get you. but the reason i like the more natural look is perhaps because 'ombre' is what used to happen to me - i always wore hats during summer - bottom part faded to blonde and top stayed darker.
