*PLEASE NOTE* This feature is part of Allure's December/January issue. All the contents for this issue can be viewed, here.

The cropping doesn't make sense yet the blue worked for the cover.

Ellie has a 3pg feature in the print edition of the December issue, and judging by the credits, all the content is coming from the same shoot/interview.

She also appears in the latest print issue of UK Glamour.

Magazines chasing clout by giving digital "covers" to people whom they lack the conviction to give an actual print cover. You hate to see it.

At the same time, they probably don’t want to leave themselves open to accusations of exploitation. It’s only in recent times that the fashion industry has done anything about the treatment of young women working in the sector and the catalogue of abuse that has occurred. Putting Ellie on a mainstream print cover will likely get you applause in corners of the internet where superficial actions count for everything, but not so much in the real world, where people are only too well aware that modelling is not an ideal arena for someone who meets the definition of a vulnerable adult, even if no-one would disagree in principle that people have the right to earn a living.
