Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

I see another similarly in Magda and Doutzen, they seem pretty conceited about their appearance. Maybe it's just me but I get this very strong vibe from them. You grow up being told that you're pretty, you're pretty and then get into a business that revolves around your looks, there's a huge possibility that you start thinking of yourself as above everyone else.

I remember when Doutzen appeared on Vogue Spain September 2013 cover she also gave an interview, and she told that was a little bit tired of people telling her how beautiful she is. She also said (and quote) "I'm not gonna tell my daughter that she is beautiful, I'm gonna tell her that she's intelligent, so her aspirations will go beyond fashion and beauty. I mean, I love my job but I'm not changing the world, I wanna raise a daughter to be president, not model".

I guess Doutzen is conscious about her beauty and how it opened doors to her but maybe is not the reason why she started with that diva and insufferable attitude we see on social media.

Yes, Doutzen you are not changing the world but Sasha is helping me escape from the depressing moments of my life because she understood the point of her job better than you! Like Mariacarla would say «Fashion is a big game of interpretation, it's not just about being pretty and being a model has given me a chance of being myself again» :innocent:

Magdalena has a TikTok where she posted some of the Instagram videos 7 days ago. She also has another Instagram account with over a thousand followers. She doesn’t post much on her feed but used to post on her stories.

She linked that TikTok account to her new Instagram bio. And she uploaded a new video on TikTok.

This is exactly true. All these new descriptions of 'model and humanitarian' etc and it needs to be about more than appearance etc, and my favourite which is the fake dedication to anti-capitalksm etc. Cut the crap, your profession is to model clothes and whether you like it or not, the hard truths are that your value in this role IS about your looks, and those nice clothes and nice homes and nice trips are funded by arguably the most capitalist and environmentally unfriendly industries there is. Just give us the fantasy! That's what we love fashion for. Own the frivolity of it.

Magdalena's account b*tch of the great queen is gone, very vip black Madonna is still there

There are rumours circling that supposedly Bella Hadid has lost or is at risk of losing her Dior contract because of her support for Palestine. Anyone knows more?

I mean, nothing shocks me anymore but that would be the stupidest move by Dior. Terrible PR. And besides, Bella and Gigi have always talked about this. They've been going to protests and being vocal about it on social media. There is a lot of performative activism, yeah. This isn't a case of it.
So, why now? Makes zero sense to me from a business perspective.

Apparently she lost both Dior and Michael Kors. So dumb.

One would think fashion houses make tons of money from their Middle Eastern clientele.

Yeah it seems like it's everywhere on Twitter. There's a video of a MK store in Israel taking down a picture of her. Not sure if this is proof of her being dropped though.

She won't have money problems any time soon and she will get other contracts, so it is hard to feel sorry for her.
