Wow, nice shopping result softgrey! Totally like your style.

Thank you for the pictures! Lots of really nice pieces - I particularly like the silk trousers. I understand why you bought it in two colors!

^^ thanks very much...
just a lot of basics to act as a foundation for the more dramatic pieces in my wardrobe...

^_^

the t-shirts are probably a bit boring to post, but i am possibly pleased with them more than anything...
EF does really great shapes and i didn't have any black ones yet, so these will surely be put to good use!

^ And it's also a great company ... she pays attention to fabrics, the supply chain ...

^^very true...
however- they have shifted about 80% of production to china ...
prices are lower now and the quality is still excellent...
i made an exception to my china boycott for these pieces because i have confidence in the company's production practices...

^_^

^ I didn't know that about China. I haven't bought any Eileen Fisher in probably about 3 years or so ... but I like how they use some organic textiles and a lot of natural ones, like linen, etc., which is grown without pesticides. I have also found the quality to be very good ... I thought the prices were reasonable before.

one of the blades on my adidas springblades popped out after only several uses, so I exchanged 'em for a pair of these....

Just now started my Fall shopping because the temperature is starting to drop here finally! Yay!

Dior Metallic sunglasses from Saks

Ashley Williams Tina sweater from VFILES

ZARA oversized red sweater

Converse high tops from Zappos

Topshop lace dress from Topshop

Topshop coat from Nordstrom

I'm still on the hunt for a few new casual tops and a couple of pairs of jeans, but I have my eye on some things from J.Crew that will probably be winners. I'm trying something new this season - buying clothes that fit my actual lifestyle since I already have a closet full of crazy statement pieces that get little to no wear. So no more heels, no skirts, and only one dress because I had to go to a wedding. So far practicality seems to be not so bad, but I am honestly really really wanting a pair of Gianvito Rossi Carlie white leather sandals...

^ Aw, cute kitten sweater ...

I'm not sure if I'm going to buy any shoes this season, but lately I have been buying flats. Most of my heels only work for going out, and I have a nice selection already ... I'm thinking at this point of just replacements for pairs in heavy rotation. We'll see how that goes ... And, if you buy a good shoe and maintain it well, you don't have to do a lot of replacement ...

Finally I bought the Galliera from Louis Vuitton pre-loved!!!

I AM SO HAPPY :lol::wub:

^Congrats!

The colder weather is directing my purchases towards warm items. ^_^

Yes, it's rather heavy knit imo, most cashmere items are very fine knit I find. It's from Joseph.
