Vogue Paris March 2019 : Rianne van Rompaey by David Sims

Emmanuelle and David Sims always come through. I absolutely adore this.

Nothing special but love it

I love it. I'm not Sims's biggest fan but Rianne is making this work.

It doesn't really look like Rianne does it? Classic cover cruising towards April.

The art direction feels very undone

Right? I don't like it when covers are suffocated with headlines but one or two more would have worked wonders here. Otherwise it's a beautiful cover and Givenchy hasn't looked this eye-catching in a while.

a dramatic light would have flattered this really well... but I don’t really care. Alt and her team don’t even try to do a striking cover anymore.

This is a NO for me... But it's not so bad!

I'm unsure how to feel about that cover. I certainly don't like that garish pink font.
At first sight, the image looks dated, and not for the best. Maybe because of the sepia lookalike filter? But I'm happy for Rianne and she makes it work.

Very nice cover...so late 70's....

I love it! It’s nothing groundbreaking but it’s really appealing and I just adore Rianne, happy to see her on the cover.
