Fur... gorgeous and practical! (Please spare me the politically correct issue.) However, on the street, fur coats tend to put 10 years on you, and 10 kg of weight. Fur coats are very common in Italy and Spain. Not the coldest of countries, though

I adore fur (and please spare me the political correctness issue too!) - I agree that it could put 10 years on you - but it most certainly does not have to. There are many fur items around which don't - here are my favourate ones...

I dont know about anyone else, but I'd buy a fur vest like Kate Moss in the last picture. I think as long as your not like "ooh fur.. look at all of these dead animals on me!! Isn't it fabulous to be wealthy.. blah blah blah fur fur fur" it's fine to own a few pieces.

I'd go find vintage fur before I bought real fur though. Makes me feel better that it's not my fault. Oh. I'm an awful person.

I know fur looks wonderful but there's no need to kill poor creatures just to make a hat, we can't do that in 2006, that's barbaric and awful. We r in the age of technology etc. .we can creat everything, even a perfect synthetic fur.(that r also cheaper)

Synthetic fur may be better in some peoples eyes because you are not killing the animals.. but it's also bad for the environment. Being made out of all the chemicals and man-made things, the environment is polluted and the synthetic fur will never break down. Natural fur may be cruel to some people but it's natural and will break down. It's better in the long run. IMO! Sorry if you don't agree - that's just my view.
